PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Help educate the community on how to be better prepared for a disaster through activities like: community presentations; our children's Pillowcase program (preparedness educations geared toward 2nd-5th graders); our Home Fire campaigne (work with a team of volunteers to install smoke alarms for free and/or educate residents on fire escape plans).
OPEN TIME DAYS
Presentations last an hour.
Smoke Alarm installation events usually are scheduled for a four hour period of time.
REQUIRED TRAINING- Red Cross orientation
- Pillowcase training
- Home Fire Campaign trainings
