Character Counts Mid Shore, Inc., a 501(c)(3), needs volunteers to assist with our popular annual fundraiser, the Six Pillars Century Blackwater Tour cycling event. Come join us on the beautiful Cambridge waterfront and enjoy the sun, fun and volunteer spirit!

Volunteers are needed for set up at Great Marsh Park in Cambridge, Md. on Friday, May 5 from noon until 4:00 and on event day (Saturday, May 6) for traffic control and food service.

Proceeds benefit 8,200 students who receive character lessons based on the Six Pillars of Character - Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship; at no cost to the schools or taxpayers.

Character Counts Mid Shore, Inc

Established in 1998, CCMS is a non-profit organization that works to espouse positive character development in every aspect of life. Non-political and non-religious, the organization’s mission is to provide and implement a citizen-driven character enrichment program; based on the Six Pillars of Character - Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship, to all citizens in Talbot, Dorchester and Caroline Counties in Maryland. We provide character education to over 8,000 students in public schools at no cost to the schools or the taxpayer.
