Volunteers needed to visit patients living in the Douglasville/Lithia Springs and Villa Rica areas. Volunteers provide much needed emotional support and companionship. Volunteers also sometimes sit with the patient for short periods of time to give the family member a break away from the bedside. Please consider giving the gift of time.

Homestead Hospice care is specialized in providing support to patients and their loved ones during the final phase of a terminal illness. Hospice care focuses on comfort and quality of life, rather than a cure. The purpose of hospice care is neither to end nor prolong life, but rather to relieve the pain and discomfort of symptoms and give support to patients and their families during "Lifes most important journey"
