The Discovery of King Tut Special Exhibition
The Discovery of King Tut will be open from May 27 2017 - January 7 2018
"Help our guests experience the thrill of discovery in our new special exhibit, "The Discovery of King Tut." Join us as a volunteer where you can help our guests as they learn about the history of Ancient Egypt, as well as the incredible work by Howard Carter, who found the famous tomb and the treasures within. Featuring audio tours, informative videos, and faithful recreations of the exquisite finds within the tomb, the large exhibit requires your help to ensure guests can easily navigate the space, as well as ensure the quality of their visit. Volunteers may need to be able to stand for long periods, and an interest in history or Egyptology is a plus!"
Volunteer Responsibilities
The Discovery of King Tut will be open from May 27 2017 - January 7 2018, and will have various volunteer opportunities including a gallery attendant, theater usher, and more. If you choose to volunteer with Special Exhibitions, you will be interacting with the public throughout this ticketed exhibition and we encourage you to continue your learning through this and future installations as you enhance the visitor experience.

Description
The Saint Louis Science Center hours are typically Monday thru Sunday, 9:30-4:30, with summer hours open late on First Friday of each Friday. We are open everyday of the year, butThanksgiving and Christmas.
We have volunteer opportunites ranging from interacting with the public, special events and behind the scene.
