Volunteers are needed to assist special needs riders during their equine assisted activities and therapies. Lesson volunteers include Sidewalkers and Horse Leaders. Lesson volunteers are needed during set multiweek sessions (6 or 8 weeks). Lesson volunteers must commit a minimum of 1.5 hours each week for the entire session.
Barn Volunteers are needed and shifts are available Mon-Sun 365 days a year. Barn Volunteers assist with daily activities and duties to maintain the barn and horse care.
Front Desk Volunteers needed to assist with answering phones, greeting visitors, riders and families, working the gift shop and completing light office work.

To provide, promote and support equine assisted activities for individuals who have mental, physical, emotional and/or learning disabling conditions.
Description
EQUI-KIDS was formed in 1989 to promote and encourage persons with disabilites through the interaction with equine assisted activities on a weekly basis. EQUI-KIDS moved to their permanent location in 2009 allowing current programs to grow and to offer new programs such as EQUI-VETS, a wounded warriors program.
