Thank you for your kind attention to this Volunteer opportunity.

Do you know someone who has been the victim of a drunk driver, or drugged driver? Perhaps you know of a crash that has changed the lives of a family you know, or perhaps the crash involved has was a lesser injury, or property damage, all caused by the selfish action of someone who drove impaired.

In the last 5 years there have been over 80 fatalities in Allegheny County alone caused by drunk driver and over 2,000 injuries. - Enough is enough. Do you agree with our vision of No More Victims? Want to act directly and raise your voice to end drunk driving - indeed all impaired driving?

Here is how we ask YOU to help Mothers Against Drunk Driving.

As a true grassroots village, it takes many people to step up to help in ways that fit their talents and skills from something that will take a few minutes of your time from home... to something that will require a greater time commitment from now until May 21st.

MADD will be in North Park on May 21st.

We want you to help us promote this event by posting information about the event on your social media.

Or take the next step and work through our Social Media campaign to share with friends and family.

One more step, connect us to volunteer leaders who will take on the responsibility of creating a team of walkers for a 5K walk around North Park - We want to hear from Corporate Team Captains, We want to hear from first responders, law enforcement. We want to hear from academic teams colleges, universities, greeks, community service clubs like NHS and Interact and others,

We want to hear from everyone who has been impacted by the actions of an impaired driver.

The time to respond is now.

Please complete the registration on this page and we will follow-up with you directly. - Let us know how YOU beleive you can help.

Include a daytime contact number so we may connect with you by phone initally.

Look out for a call from Malcolm Friend, MADD Program Manager, (610) 825-4902

Service hours are available for these assignments.

Mission Statement

Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) has a new five year agenda to advance and achieve our mission and is dedicated to saving more lives and supporting more victims. This strategic direction moves us further down the road to fulfilling our ultimate goal: No More Victims.

Our new vision is a nation without drunk and drugged driving

Our new mission is to end drunk driving, help fight drugged driving, support the vicims of these violent crimes and prevent underage drinking.

To achieve this we need YOUR help, and that of many volunteers in the Greater Philadelphia area... and indeed across the nation.

Description

MADD was founded in 1980 by a small group of women who gathered together for one reason: each one had lost a child because of a drunk driver. Today, it is the largest crime victims' assistance organization in the world with more than 3 million members and supporters. MADD is more than just moms. It is also dads, students, victims and concerned citizens of all ages making a difference where we live and work.
