La Costa Dreams presents

Do you have a serious passion for creating, crafting, and editing video? We're looking for a volunteer videographer to work on our in-house videography team to help capture the visual elements of our unique destination film festival.

The right candidate will:

  • Shoot 4K and have their own equipment.
  • Transport, set up, and operate all necessary equipment.
  • Operate and maintain proper levels and calibration of cameras, audio and video recorders, and other production equipment
  • Ability to tell a compelling story through visuals. Must have a positive, team oriented demeanor
  • Possess strong collaboration and interpersonal communication skills with ability to accept input from team members
  • Collect b-roll footage as needed
  • Support the team throughout the production process.
  • Assist in developing interview questions and storyboards
  • Assists in the social-sharing of the video content
  • Have a self-starter personality and an eye for spontaneous moments.

**Photography proficiency is a major plus

The Film Festival is an annual four day event that exhibits first-run feature films as well as student made shorts and documentaries in various venues around the City of Carlsbad.
