Do you you have a compassion and smile for our elders, or those who are entering their end of life journey?
Do you wish to learn, share, and be blessed by those with whom you spend time?
If so, please consider volunteering with our outstanding volunteer team. As an AseraCare Hospice Volunteer we provide companionship and support to hospice patients through the time and care we give to them. Here at AseraCare we work off of the unique bonds that our volunteers can offer onto our patients whether that is through; conversations, reading, leisure activities or being a supportive presence, we make sure our patients receive the best of care our Volunteers can give.

Description
AseraCare is a hospice agency that provides care to patient in the end stages of life. We serve patients in their own homes, nursing homes, or assisted living facilities.
We focus on serving the emotional, spiritual and physical needs of our team, patients and families with a sense of compassion, urgency and customer service. AseraCare is passionate about creating a culture that is dedicated to the alleviation of human suffering which finds expression through the ongoing gentle acts of kindness, sympath and compassion. Volunteers at AseraCare will be a friend in someone's end of life journey to ensure they are comfortable.
AseraCare Hospice volunteers enhance quality of life and reduce the burden of caregiving by providing dirrerent types of support to patients and families. Companions, pet therapy, music volunteers, Reiki Practitioners, Massage therapists, and more visit our patients on a regular basis. If you wish to share your heart and help a terminally ill patient in any way you can contact our Volunteer Coordinator to learn about our exciting new opportunities!
