Join Omega's Seasonal Service Corps!
A season at the Omega Institute offers a unique opportunity to live in community, be in service, and to learn about yourself and others. Each year over 350 seasonal community members with diverse backgrounds join Omega to work and grow alongside like-minded people. The seasonal community is instrumental in producing a fantastic guest experience for the workshop, conference, and retreat participants at the Rhinebeck, NY campus.
Seasonal Service Corps members commit to serve part-time (up to 28 hours per week for at least 4 weeks), participate in our specially designed holistic education program, receive three mostly vegetarian meals per day, and are provided with a campsite and shared bath facilities.
To fulfill the many departmental needs, Omega is looking for service oriented people with skills in such areas as hospitality, customer service, administration, gardening, reception, audio/visual, event planning, mediation, lifeguards with water-front module certification, food service, baristas, luggage handlers, maintenance, housekeepers, and children's program.
An Omega season is an excellent way for people in all stages of life to gain life skills while on a break, contemplate career or life transitions, and grow through the challenges of community living. If you are creative, enthusiastic, responsible, willing to learn and are seeking ways to awaken the best in the human spirit, consider joining the Omega team!
Omega is committed to diversity. We encourage dedicated people of all ages (18 and over) to apply.
