VIP is hosting a great community event on Saturday, April 29th at St. John's Lutheran Church in Luxemburg, WI for anyone who enjoys arts and crafts(or stamping cards!), but I still need a couple volunteers to help prep the taco bar the day before the event! If you are free on Friday, April 28th between 9am-12pm, and can help cut veggies and taco fixings for a great cause, get a hold of me and I will get you some details! And we can always use a couple more people to serve food(9am-2pm) the day of, as well as just serve as host/ushers(8:30am-12pm) to direct people to the proper areas when they arrive. This would be a great job for older teenagers looking for some quick volunteer hours!

Description
The Violence Intervention Project is a bilingual, non-profit organization that serves all of Kewaunee County. Services are free. Services VIP provides are a 24-hour Helpline (offering crisis intervention and information), individual advocacy (provided to victims and their children), weekly support groups (women's support group with a children's support group at the same time) sexual assault survivors, Latin@ women, transitional living facility(provides affordable housing, support, community connections, options and advocacy to women and their children), speaker's bureau/protective behaviors presentations(provide speakers for schools, churches, business, etc.)
