Easy and Fun Volunteering. Help paint some of the farm barns and cabins at the farm! You can help with one or both painting shifts (there is a morning shift for 2 hours and an afternoon shift for 3 hours).
Please be sure to wear paint clothes and shoes.
This opportunity also earns Community Service hours for school, court or work.
Donations of Paint Supplies are also welcome (Trim Brushes, Rollers, Paint, etc)

Wildwoods is a LGBTQ+ Community Farm: A place we belong in the world and a place that belongs to us. Wildwoods is a safe haven where LGBTQ youth and community can gather, socialize, and support each other while connecting with nature through farming and gardening. We are inclusive and a place of peace and welcome for the LGBTQ+ community and all of our friend and supporters.
Description
Wildwoods Community Farm works with communities engage in small farming and gardening as well as being a gathering place for support and friendship. We have a variety of programs to help the local community learn about and experience farming including farm educational days, volunteer days, children's farmer's markets and providing land to young beginning farmers to help them launch their own farms. We will need everything from garden maintenance, such as weeding or mulching, to painting our farm buildings. Socials include dinners, potlucks, picnics, game days, dances, group cooking, and youth playdates.
