In honor of both National Volunteer Week and the City of San Diego Week of Service, 100 volunteers will be taking on a variety of projects to beautify the Memorial Recreation Complex which includes the recreation center, a skate park, and the Logan Heights Library.

Volunteer projects include: graffiti removal, removing stickers in the skatepark, painting picnic tables and planters, spreading mulch, sprucing up the baseball fields, sorting books, and cleaning and organizing parts of the library.
