On May 11th, the MDA Charlotte Office will be holding one of its signature events of the year - the "Gastonia Lock-Up". On that day, members of the local community and business leaders will be "locked-up" and serve an hour behind bars at the Gaston County Police Department to raise bail for MDA. We are in need of some awesome volunteers to help take mug shots, act as event "host and hostesses" and assist with other fun event duties. Here are the details:
Date: Thursday, May 11th
Place: Gaston County Police Department
420 W. Franklin Blvd., Gastonia, NC 28052
Time: 8:30 am - 2:00pm (if you are not available all day, we can certainly use you for whenever you are available!)
Attire: Business Casual & comfortable shoes
Food: We’ll feed you breakfast & lunch!
Parking: Parking will be available at the event location for volunteers.
Please let us know if you are available and interested and what times you can help on the 11th. We really appreciate your support and are looking forward to a fun and successful day for MDA!
