Join the Greenburgh Nature Center and Riverkeeper in a shoreline cleanup by land of the Bronx River Trailway in Scarsdale on Saturday, May 6, 2017 for the 5th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep, a day of service for the Hudson River.

Volunteers should park and meet at the Scarsdale Train Station (there is a large municipal parking lot). We ask all Sweep volunteers to wear sturdy shoes or boots, clothing that they can get dirty, and to bring a hat, sunscreen, a reusable water bottle, and snacks. Volunteers should wear long sock/pants and long sleeves due to the presence of poison ivy. This site is suitable for elementary-aged children ONLY with proper adult supervision - the Trailway closely borders the Bronx River Parkway, so children will be asked to remain in the wooded areas near the station.

Questions? Contact Riverkeeper at sweep@riverkeeper.org or site leader Sara Spodenvolunteer@greenburghnaturecenter.org.
