Description: We need a volunteer to be our main Tempe Seed Librarian for our public Seed Library program! There are no qualifications needed except the ability to follow directions, it's a simple, fun job. You can also earn free seeds for your own garden!

The honorable duties of a Seed Librarian includes visiting the library to care for and maintain the plants, audit the seeds, help with data entry, pick up and deliver seeds, and organize seed drawers. There will be full training provided.

Volunteers of all ages can apply. You can commit to as little as twice per week or as many hours as you're able to. Our volunteer hours are 10-3 pm.

Garden Pool is a federally-recognized 501(c)3 public charity. Thanks to your support, Garden Pool has evolved from an empty swimming pool into an international movement.

We are always looking for individuals and groups who are interested in volunteering with Garden Pool. We help folks with non-violent offences who need to work off community service hours through Maricopa County Courts on a case-by-case basis. We even meet many requirements for interns from colleges and universities through our internship program at Garden Pool.

Our goal as a non-profit is to both innovate and educate the public with agricultural and horticultural knowledge and skills. In short, we want to learn, create, teach, and support better ways to grow food in our community!
