Duties/expectations: Handle phone inquiries and greet parents and their children or other guests as they arrive at our facility.
Time commitment: 3 hour shifts once a week minimum from 9am-12pm, 12pm-3pm or 3pm-6pm.

Description
Orange County Music and Dance ("OC Music & Dance" or "OCMD") is Orange County’s first and only nonprofit community music school. We are totally dedicated to providing the highest quality musical arts education and training for the children of Orange County, regardless of the child’s family ability to pay. We offer private and group lessons in variety of instruments, including string, wind, and piano. Our dance programs range from ballroom to ballet, salsa to Chinese heritage dances. Voice training focuses on standard repertoire to modern rap, and from solo to choir. We teach musical theory and composition, and training and experience in music recording. Our brand new 21,000 square foot facility offers 8 practice rooms, large dance studios, classrooms, fully equipped recording studios, and a 140 seat theater. We are conveniently located just a few miles from John Wayne Airport, on the corner of Fitch Avenue and MacArthur Boulevard. We have ample free parking, including plenty of spaces for handicapped, and are directly adjacent to the OC Transit bus stop. We also make our facility available to other performing arts organizations for their students, professionals, and guests, including supplemental facilities for teaching and training, performances, special events, and board meetings. Families may enjoy the facilities for private recitals, performances, weddings and other important personal events.
