Do you want to take an active role in inspiring children to make art? Are you interested in assisting professional artists with hands-on art activities? Volunteer with our Truck Studio in the parks this summer!
We need volunteers to help with Truck Studio programming at 18 Milwaukee Parks. Our team works with kids ages 4-14 on multiple types of art projects. Summer programming will take place from June 24th-August 4th Monday-Friday from 12-3pm. Volunteers will work with the community engagement coordinator to create a schedule that works for them.
Volunteer at as many sessions as you like! If you would like to volunteer with us for a longer period of time, you are welcome to join the employee training session that takes place a week before programming begins. Volunteers should be able to fulfill the time commitment they make. Volunteers should have their own transportation to/from park or AWE office. Application and brief interview/orientation required. Background check will be conducted for all volunteers.
