Join the PACER Puppet Team and help children learn about Bullying Prevention or Disability Awareness.
The KIDS AGAINST BULLYING puppet program helps young children learn how to respond if they are being bullied, how to help if they see someone being bullied, the difference between tattling and telling, and most importantly that no one ever deserves to be bullied.
The COUNT ME IN puppet program teaches children that kids with disabilities can do lots of things and they want to play, learn, have friends and be included just like everyone else.
Upcoming training dates (registration required):
Tuesday, May 23 in Saint Paul
Wednesday, May 31 in Minneapolis
As a volunteer puppeteer, you’ll:
- Attend a training to learn puppet and presentation skills;
- Learn the script;
- Work with a fun team;
- Present programs at metro schools two to three times per month
All you need is a car, time during the school day, and a desire to help young children.
