SAVE THE DATE, our Third Annual "Out of Sight" Wing Fling Fundraising Event is happening on August 25th. "What’s a Wing Fling?" you may ask. The Wing Fling is a chicken wing cooking competition in a team format. This year it will be held at Festival Park. We’ll have food trucks, beverages, bands, a kids’ zone, a VIP tent, educational areas, and lots of fun and laughs! Even if you aren’t competing, this will be a family event that you won’t want to miss! There will be various areas to volunteer: VIP Tent, Admissions, Competitors, Vendors, Eye"Q" Zone, Beer/Wine, please feel free to give us a call 910-483-2719 we need you to make a difference in the lives of someone blind or visually impaired.

The Vision Resource Center (VRC) enhances the lives of adults and children who are blind or visually impaired
Description
Our programs include:
VRC-VLY Reading Service Radio, where we connect the blind and print impaired with national, local and community news by reading local news via Zeno Radio
Van transportation for scheduled medical appointments, grocery shopping, and activities that the VRC provides to its consumers
Healthy Living and Cultural Programming to engage our consumers mentally, socially and physically
Youth programming and Summer Camp
