Join us on June 13th for a festive morning filled with family fun activities and inspiration at the 14th Annual Fort Wayne VisionWalk. In addition to our walk, we will have a variety of enjoyable activities for the kids. We need volunteers to help throughout with set up, registration, stations, and tear down. Any time between 6am-11am would be helpful.
Registration starts at 8:30 a.m.
The Walk begins at 10:00 a.m.
Volunteer shifts begin at 6:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Several volunteer opportunities are available including:
Set-up & Tear Down Volunteers: Help set up pop-up tents, tables, chairs, kid's activities and get first pick of the food and coffee! Tear down volunteers help break everything down and get to take home left over treats! *Set-up & Tear Down volunteers must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds.
Registration & Accounting Volunteers: Greet event attendees and help process event-day donations.
Kid's Activities Volunteers: Supervise the kids activities.
Food Volunteers: Set up and maintain the food stations.
Walk Route Volunteers: Cheer on the walkers and help pass out water.
**This is an outdoor activity, so please dress for the weather!**

The urgent mission of The Foundation Fighting Blindness, Inc. (FFB) is to drive the research that will provide preventions, treatments and cures for people affected by retinitis pigmentosa (RP), macular degeneration, Usher Syndrome, and the entire spectrum of retinal degenerative diseases.
Description
Each year, our VisionWalks raise awareness and funds for blinding eye diseases. We are asking for your support to raise lots of great research dollars for retinal degenerative diseases and help our Walk Day run well. Throughout the Midwest, the Foundation Fighting Blindness hosts VisionWalks in every state - walkathon-style fundraisers to support the mission of the Foundation Fighting Blindness. The events feature entertainment and family friendly activities.
