Many of our Seniors have been separated from their pet due to their need for continuous care. They love to have visits from furry friends who will remind them of the pet they grew up with, have been separated from or are just missing. I know if my Mom would have to be separated from her best friend, she would be devastated. So we are looking for pet owners who would be willing to share thier best friend with a Hospice Senior. Mission Statement
The mission of Hospice Services at Methodist ElderCare is to provide the best hospice care possible for patients located in the counties of Fairfield, Franklin. Pickaway, Delaware, Licking, Fayette, Union, and Madison.
Description
The philosophy of services focuses on maximizing the patients quality of life through an individualized comprehensive care program designed to meet his/her physical,social,emotional and spiritual needs (24) hours a day, (7) days a week. Care is provided by an interdisciplinary team of staff and volunteers. In addition, following the patients death, hospice continues to maintain contact with family members through a (13) month bereavement program.
