PROGRAMS INTERNSHIP
Primary Function
The Programs Intern, under the direction of the Division Executive Director, will assist with the implementation and evaluation of education programs.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct outreach to schools and youth and community based organizations to build partnerships
- Schedule and conduct Love Your Liver programs
- Coordinate evaluation summary process for education programs
- Assist with implementation of other ALF core programs
- Other tasks/projects, as assigned
Related Skills or Knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
- Experience and interest in working with youth
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed to excellence of work
- Team-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Computer literacy, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook

Description
Led by the voluntary Advisory Committee and Medical Advisory Committee, the Pacific Coast Division offers up-to-date information and support to individuals with liver disease and their families, friends, health care professionals and the local community. With nearly 10 support groups throughout our region, an extensive education program and fundraising events, the Pacific Coast Division is dedicated to educating the public about liver disease and helping those affected by liver disease.
