The purpose of this position is to promote and lead fun physical activities in order to encourage children to participate in an active lifestyle
Location: Anaheim Independencia F.R.C

Key Responsibilities: Develop and lead fitness activities in the form of games and exercises for children K-8th grade (5-14). Activities should be safe and take into account a child’s level of coordination.
Qualification: Experience working with children preferred. Interest in careers dealing with fitness training, physical education and health preferred. 18 and older.
Time Commitment: 1-2 days a week starting June 206th-July17th. 3PM-4PM
Training and Support: No training provided. Orientation required for rules of the program. Outdoor activity equipment will be provided when needed.
Benefits: Leadership experience will be acquired. Experience in fitness and activity lesson plan development will be acquired. Experience in facilitating activity will be gained. Internship experience is gained.

Description
Community Action Partnership of Orange County mobilizes both pulbic and private resources to help the poor move out of poverty by meeting their basic needs, averting and them helping them to become more self-sufficient. We provide food to the hungry, afterschool programs, family services, conduct community development activities, afterschool programs, mentoring, provide refurbish computers to low-income kids, distribute food and clothing to help families transition off welfare; etc.
