Each volunteer is important to our mission. We match the interests of the volunteer with the need of the organization. We do ask each interested person contact us FIRST before showing up to help. Activities include, organizaing fundraising events, attending public awareness booths, offering educaitonal presentations, general cleaning, office work, phone call and email correspondence, assisting with twice annual highway clean up, creating newsletter articles, researching online grant applications, nature walk maintenance, etc.

American Heritage Wildlife Foundation works to conserve the local wildlife through rehabilitation of the injured or orphaned as well as community education.
Description
AHWF has a two fold mission. We work tirelessly to rehabilitate the injured or orphaned wildlife and return them back into the wild. We also work to make sure our community is aware of the importance of all wildlife species. We offer many educational activities. Our vision is to create the first nature center of the inland northwest.
