To qualify as a Link ONE Mentor, you must:
Be 18 years old or older
Submit to a background check, including fingerprints
Meet guidelines set by the schools we work with in terms of any past offenses shown on background.
Complete training session (2.5 hours)
Agree to abide by policies and guidelines.
Meet once per week with a student (grades K-12). Committ to meet with the student for one school year.

Description
One True Light mobilizes Duncan volunteers to carry out two initiatives impacting the quality of life for local children: Link ONE Mentoring matches caring, compassionate and consistent adults with children in need of positive role models. Mentors meet weekly with their Link ONE Kids at their school building. Spokes for Hope Summer Feeding provides meals for local students during the time they are away from school for summer break.
