1 hour once a week is all it takes! Can be done anytime between 8am-1pm. Location: near the Dog Racing Track. Use the dog track address to look up location. 951 Dog Track Rd, Pensacola, FL 32506. We don't want to give out her address online. Need help scooping litterboxes and feeding the cats. Please fill out our online Volunteer interest form on our website www.aaFlorida.org and we'll contact you.

Details: A very nice woman who has rescued many cats from being killed by the US Navy is dying from lung disease and needs help feeding and scooping litterboxes once a day. Animal Allies Florida rescue is setting up to take these cats in, but we don't have room right now. They are ok in their current location, but we need more volunteers willing to help care for the cats.

We're looking for a 3 month committment of one hour once a week to scoop the litterboxes and feed the cats. Once we train you'll be able to go anytime between 8am-1pm. This can count for community service hours. You can do alone or with a friend. No experience necessary. Training provided.

Description

We are a small group of volunteers working to reduce the number of animals put down each year in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties in Florida. We rescue and find homes for cats and dogs. We spay/neuter as many animals as we can get our hands on. Volunteering with us does count as community service hours, if needed.
