Drew Farm is a 3 acre farm to school production site that produces over 20,000 pounds of produce per year for Detroit caferterias and school farmers markets. Drew Farm is operated by the Detroit Public School, Office of School Nutrition and is located on campus of Drew Transition Center, a DPSCD school serving 18-26 year olds with physical and cognitive disabilities.
During the spring, summer, and fall months we welcome volunters to help us harvest and weed to provide organically grown, nutritious, and fresh food to Detroit students and families!

Description
Operated through the Office of School Nutrition, the Detroit School Garden Collaborative runs a 2 acre food production farm that provides fresh produce for school cafterias. In 2015 we grew over 20,000 pounds of food. Additionally we have 82 active school gardens with trained teachers and a standards approved school garden curriculum. We have also recently gained the opportunity to restore Catherine Ferguson, a 2 acre school farm site in Detrot.
