MY NEIGHBORHOOD MOBILE GROCERY

My Neighborhood Mobile Grocery (MNMG) is a nutritionally focused, mobile grocery retail model that provides people who have low access to affordable, healthy foods with a new and innovative shopping option within their communities. Offering a wide, competitively priced product mix that balances client choice with nutritional products and promotions to incentivize increased consumption of fruits and vegetables, MNMG extends the purchasing power of shoppers.

Woodbridge Senior Village is a 3-tower apartment complex for low-income seniors. We need volunteers to serve in the following capacities:

Greeters (2 needed) - Greet shoppers as they arrive. Distribute shopping lists and explain the ordering process. Manage the queueing line of shoppers as they review products on the display table and wait to place their order. Indoor setting.

Building "Captains" (2-4 needed) - Help take orders in the other two buildings in the complex, and run the orders to and from our point of sale and truck for processing and fulfillment. Indoor and outdoor setting.

Order Fillers (1-2 needed) - Work on pulling the customers’ orders from mobile grocery racks on the Gleaners Mobile Grocery truck.

Order Checkers/Baggers (2-3 needed) - Double check orders coming off the check and bag for customers.
