The Salt Lake City Arts Council is pleased to present the Living Traditions Festival School Day program. The Festival is a cultural celebration that presents the traditional music, dance, and crafts of the ethnic communities that make Salt Lake their home. More than 70 different cultural groups are represented each year through dance, music, and crafts - from Chinese dragon dancing to Scottish bagpipes, Greek dancing and Mexican paper flowers, the sights and activities of the Festival cannot be found at any other cultural event in Utah.

Volunteers provide an invaluable service to the operation of this Festival and contribute to the spirit of Living Traditions. We could not do it without YOU! Be a part of this spectacular spring event in Salt Lake City. You are supporting an amazing community event, which promotes amazing local ethnic artists and communities!

Volunteer Opportunities include positions such as:

Beverage Assistant (Non Alcoholic), Bocce Ball Assistant, Greeter, Grounds Crew, Kids Area Assistant, Refrigeration Truck Assistant, and School Day Assistant.

Volunteers receive fun & exciting benefits dependent on hours of service such as free soft drinks, T-Shirts, discounts and tickets to the Utah Natural History Museum, Tracy Aviary, Twilight Concerts, and more!

Volunteers at the festival support an amazing community event, now in its 32nd year, which promotes local folk and ethnic artists and their communities.
