Position Description:
Refugee clients come to USCRI Cleveland Field Office with a wide range of health concerns. The Health Services volunteer will provide critical administrative support in a dynamic office environment to ensure the health needs of our clients are met. This volunteer position typically involves minimal client interaction while providing important support to the Health Coordinator. Tasks of the selected candidate will include the following:
- Scheduling specialty service referrals for clients over the phone
- Writing emails to identify missing elements of client access to care
- Electronic and manual data entry of health documents and services received by clients
Requirements
- Some college education or equivalent work experience
- Flexibility to changing priorities
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook Suite (Mail, Calendar, OneDrive, Sharepoint )
- Professionalism in interactions over phone and email
- Minimum 4 hours/week commitment
