MADD - Arizona hosts the Tucson 5K Dash & Walk Like MADD event each fall at Reid Park in Tucson, AZ. This family-friendly day is filled with fun activities, including a 5K run and walk, a Kids' Korner, an educational presentation about MADD and our services, and a lovely tribute to victims and survivors of drunk and drugged driving crashes. We are in need of many volunteers to help make this day a HUGE success!
Volunteer opportunities:
SATURDAY, 9/22, 5:30 am - 9:00 am: Assist with event setup, including vendor areas, rest stops, registration, handing out t-shirts, and various other tasks
SATURDAY, 9/22, 7:00 am - 10:00 am: Rest Stop support
SATURDAY, 9/22, 9:00 am - 11:30 pm: Route support including manning a rest stop, cheering on walkers at the start and finish line and along the route, providing route direction, assisting with clean up, and various other tasks

MADD's mission is to end drunk driving, help fight drugged driving, support the victims of these violent crimes, and prevent underage drinking.
Description
The MADD - Arizona offices are always looking for great volunteers! We offer many services to victims of drunk and drugged driving crashes; educational programs to teens, parents, and the community throughout the entire state; and host community-based special events. We would love for you to join us in any one of these areas as a volunteer!
