Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit the minimum number of volunteers in the Anaheim, CA area needed for each day of the conference.
- Oversee volunteer check-in the day of the event and serve as member of the team of contacts for volunteers who have questions or need instruction
- Provide leadership and instruction to all volunteers at various stations including: exhibit hall workers, ushers, greeters, workshop monitors, etc.
Qualifications:
The ideal volunteer for this position:
- has a friendly and welcoming personality and is comfortable leading a group of volunteers
- is punctual, reliable, and has a professional demeanor
- able to delegate tasks and troubleshoot setbacks quickly
- must be able to lift heavy boxes and stand/walk for a long period of time (5-6 hours)
- must live in or around the Anaheim, CA area
- able to assist with recruiting efforts from April 2017-June 2017
Shifts
Two shifts available (8a-2p or 1p-7p) to select from.
