ORGANIZATION: Immune Deficiency Foundation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit the minimum number of volunteers in the Anaheim, CA area needed for each day of the conference.
  • Oversee volunteer check-in the day of the event and serve as member of the team of contacts for volunteers who have questions or need instruction
  • Provide leadership and instruction to all volunteers at various stations including: exhibit hall workers, ushers, greeters, workshop monitors, etc.

Qualifications:

The ideal volunteer for this position:

  • has a friendly and welcoming personality and is comfortable leading a group of volunteers
  • is punctual, reliable, and has a professional demeanor
  • able to delegate tasks and troubleshoot setbacks quickly
  • must be able to lift heavy boxes and stand/walk for a long period of time (5-6 hours)
  • must live in or around the Anaheim, CA area
  • able to assist with recruiting efforts from April 2017-June 2017

Shifts

Three shifts available (8a-2p, 1p-7p, 4p-10p) to select from.
