Wigs 4 Kids needs your help! We are seeking someone to serve as a Basket Coordinator, to assist in putting together beautiful raffle prizes in baskets for our signature event: the 14th Annual Gala "Be a Star." This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and its success means we will be able to serve more children and their families at no charge.
It takes a willing heart, creativity and a lot of love to put together these fabulous prizes. If you've never put together raffle baskets, we can teach you how!
We are seeking someone who has two days a week to volunteer for Wigs 4 Kids. Bringing a group of 5 people to help is a bonus. Mission Statement
Maggie's Wigs 4 Kids of Michigan is a local, grassroots non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that reaches out to Michigan children and teens experiencing hair loss to help them regain self-esteem. The program assists young people, aged 3 through 18, with hair loss from cancer treatments, alopecia, trichotillomania and other conditions by providing age appropriate, custom-fitted wigs at no cost. We support these young people as they struggle for social acceptance based on physical appearance and helps kids improve their self-image by enabling them to look more like their peers. We are funded solely on the basis of contributions and gratefully accepts donations.

Maggie's Wigs 4 Kids of Michigan is committed to substantially improving the quality of life for children and teens experiencing hair loss, by responding to their need to improve attitudes and regain a positive self-image.
