Looking for a volunteer opportunitiy for your and your family or coworkers? Arc's Value Village would love to host your group for a volunteer event! Volunteering in our Arc's Value Village stores helps to support the Arc Greater Twin Cities in it's mission to promote and protect the rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Typical Duties Include:

  • Upacking and sorting donations
  • Tagging donations to be sold
  • Placing donations out on the sales floor
  • Organizing and tidying the sales floor

When Can I Schedule a Group Volunteering Event?

Arc's Value Village is able to accommodate groups in at all five store locations, all 7 days a week! Volunteer shifts are 9am-12pm, 1-4pm, 4-6pm and 6-8pm. Youth between the ages of 8-15 will need to volunteer with an adult.

Description

The Arc Minnesota is a statewide nonprofit organization that works to promote and protect the human rights of people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Arc helps people navigate systems while working to advance social change centered in justice, equity and belonging in community. Arc's Value Village is a public awareness and revenue generating vehicle for The Arc Minnesota. Arc's Value Village accepts clothing, housewares, art, media, books & related items and sells those items to the community.
