NFL Food Connect Driver
The NFL Draft is taking place on the
Benjamin Frankl in Pkwy from Apri l 27-
29th. We anticipate over 200,000
people in attendance. We are seeking
committed volunteer drivers to help
transport surplus food during these
three days.
Food Connect is a free app designed to
make it fast, simple, and safe for
donors to donate surplus food in real
time to a local shelter.
Volunteer drivers are critical for picking
up surplus food from donors and safely
del ivering it to the appropriate
recipients. Drivers are also responsible
for logging the type and quantity of
donations at pick-up and for ensuring
that the food is appropriately packaged
to transport to recipients according to
food safety regulations. Drivers col lect
signatures from donors and recipients
on their smartphone.
