Baseball or Softball Coach For Clinics

Help facilitate baseball and/or softball activities for youth participants ages 6 to 13 during At Bat clinics. Teach them how to throw, catch, hit and/or pitch properly.

Throw: Instruct youth participants how to release the baseball and/or softball

Catch: Instruct youth participants how to capture a baseball and/or softball in their glove when thrown in their direction.

Hit: Instruct youth participants how to position themselves alongside the home plate while simultaneously making eye contact with a baseball or softball and swinging the bat to make physical contact with the ball.

Pitch: Instruct youth how to position themselves and aim to release the baseball and/or softball to the catcher.

Coaches responsibilities are as followed:

• Provide a safe physical environment.
• Communicate in a positive way.
• Teach basic skills and strategy to players.
• Helping players become fit and value fitness for a lifetime.
• Help young people develop character.
