We are the Xtreme Justice League. A non-profit group of costumed activists dedicated to making the community a better place. (See the documentary "Superheroes", on Netflix for a better idea of what we do) We are seeking more out of the box thinkers with a desire to make their community a better and safer place to live. Your ethnicity, sex, race, sexual preference, religious affiliations, and personal hobbies are completely irrelevant. We have members from all walks of life, and we want to meet you.

Activities include (but not limited to):
Safety patrols
Community cleanup
Posting Flyers for community awareness
Speaking to groups about activism
Homeless Outreach
Supporting other Organizations
Participating in walks/runs for causes (AIDS walk, Warrior Dash 5k for St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Parkinson's Foundation 3k)

Mission Statement

Violent crime in San Diego is getting out of control. The purpose of the Xtreme Justice League is to take a proactive stance against violent crime through prevention, intervention and communtiy outreach.

Description

The XJL was founded in 2006 by San Diego native superhero Mr. Xtreme. We are a team of costumed crime fighters that seek to make a difference in our community by:

* Raising awareness about crime issues in San Diego

* Acting as both a physical and visual deterant to violent crime

* Assist public officials and local law enforcement in their efforts to control violent crime

* Educate and empower the public on strategies to help and stay safe

* Promoting the concept of a Real Life Superhero; tolerance, non-violence, compassion, heroism, self-defense, and activism.
