MADD - Arizona hosts the Phoenix Walk Like MADD event each fall at the Phoenix Zoo in Phoenix, AZ. This family-friendly day is filled with fun activities including a 5K walk, a Kids' Korner, an educational presentation about MADD and our services, and a lovely tribute to victims and survivors of drunk and drugged driving crashes. We are in need of many volunteers to help make this day a HUGE success!
Volunteer opportunities:
FRIDAY, 10/19, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm: Assist the MADD team with loading the event U-Haul; Assist with pre-event setup at the Phoenix Zoo
SATURDAY, 10/20, 5:30 am - 8:30 am: Assist with event set up, including vendor areas, rest stops, registration, handing out t-shirts, and various other tasks
SATURDAY, 10/20, 7:30 am - 9:30 am: Rest Stop support
SATURDAY, 10/20, 8:00 AM - 10:30 AM: Route support, including manning a rest stop, cheering on walkers at the start and finish line, providing route direction, assisting with cleanup, and various other tasks

MADD's mission is to end drunk driving, help fight drugged driving, support the victims of these violent crimes, and prevent underage drinking.
Description
The MADD - Arizona offices are always looking for great volunteers! We offer many services to victims of drunk and drugged driving crashes; educational programs to teens, parents, and the community throughout the entire state; and host community-based special events. We would love for you to join us in any one of these areas as a volunteer!
