Volunteers will work directly with youth, helping them to make art. Volunteers should have experience working with children and a personable attitude when interacting with parents and the public.
Date & Time: Saturday, May 6th and Sunday, May 7th
Volunteer Shifts:
10:45-12:30 and 12:30-2:15 (on both Saturday and Sunday)
Please clarify in the notes if you would to volunteer on May 5th or May 6th.

Description
Artists Working in Education (AWE), sponsors professional artists to nurture the imaginations of Milwaukee youth by bringing creative visual arts experiences directly to schools, community centers and informal settings such as parks, playgrounds, libraries and community events.
AWE artists guide children through the process of transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary. Meaningful arts programming helps youth develop new ways of seeing the world, enhanced inquisitiveness, creativity, flexibility, imagination and confidence.
