Are you interested in helping your neighbors achieve U.S. citizenship?

Join the New Americans Campaign to help Lawful Permanent Residents (LPRs) during a joint workshop on Saturday, May 13, 2017. At our centrally located venue (HCC-West Loop), we expect a large volume of applicants who will need assistance with filling out their application, legal questions, fee waivers, and more. NO LAW EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED - all we ask is that you be 18+, have clear and legible handwriting, pay attention to detail, and be comfortable handling sensitive personal information.

We welcome all volunteers but would especially appreciate the help of attorneys, BIA representatives (with full or partial accreditation), and bilingual volunteers - Spanish especially.

Your day will begin with a training on how to correctly fill out the citizenship application form. You will then be sent to one of several stations - whether you are helping fill out forms, direct traffic, or translate, every step is vital to the success of our workshop. We will provide breakfast and lunch for all volunteers.

To volunteer, please fill out this google form: http://bit.ly/2nxZ0DD
