Be the first face our clients, volunteers, donors, and community members see when they enter Hopelink's Sno-Valley Center in Carnation! We are looking for volunteers to join the incredible group of people who make our Sno-Valley center so awesome.

You'll pick a weekday afternoon (M-F, 2-5 PM) and will answer phone calls, greet people who enter the center, and work on miscellaneous projects that help keep our center running. Basically, you're our lifesaver and we couldn't do what we do without your help.

Volunteers must be fluent in English, be at least 18 years old, be able to work independently, and, preferably, be able to commit to volunteering at least six months. This opportunity is not available to fulfill court-ordered community service requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain work or other experience for your résumé.

About Hopelink

Location:

8990 154th Ave NE, Redmond, WA 98052, US

Mission Statement

The mission of Hopelink is to promote self-sufficiency for all members of our community; we help people make lasting change.

Description

Hopelink is the largest private, non-profit, social service agency in north and east King County. Hopelink started in 1971 in Bothell to assist families who had been affected by Boeing lay-offs with job search services. Since then, Hopelink has grown to include six emergency service centers and food banks, and programs in housing, family development, childcare, transportation, and more. In July of 2001, Eastside Literacy became a program of Hopelink, adding Adult Literacy and English as a Second Language services to our programs. Over 2000 Hopelink volunteers help their neighbors work towards lasting change each year.
