Audubon Education Volunteer
Audubon Education Volunteers share the natural wonders of Patterson Park with Baltimore City students.

Audubon Needs YOU to Join Our Education Team!

Patterson Park Audubon Center engages 12,000 students and neighbors in environmental education and stewardship every year! Our limited staff relies on talented volunteers to help implement over 400 programs/year, utilizing Patterson Park as our outdoor classroom.

Joining PPAC's Volunteer Education Team is a great way to learn new skills, build your resume, and network while helping birds and our community.

Spring Education Volunteer Training
Friday, September 20th
12:00 - 4:30 PM

Lunch is provided!

Trainees will sign up to assist a minimum of three programs following the training. Email Education Manager, Erin Reed (ereed@audubon.org), to sign up!

Description

Patterson Park Audubon Center was established in 2002, in response to community demand for programming in PattersonPark, an urban park in the heart of a transitioning neighborhood with a large and diverse population. Patterson Park Audubon Center now makes over 12,000 program contacts annually with Baltimore City residents through our in-school, after-school, and family environmental education, stewardship, and volunteer activities in Patterson Park and throughout Baltimore.
