We need volunteers for many duties.
1. Student Program Coordination
We need help coordinating, promoting and booking our statewide student photo and drawing contests. Your job would be to email and make phone calls to AEAs and school districts to increase student participation, telling them about our competition and also about other services for students, including architecture walking tours and Power Point presentations they can get from us.
2. Graphic Design
If you are a graphic designer, we have many opportunities to work on brochures, exhibits, website.
3. Website Update
If you are knowledgeable in Wordpress, we can use your help in making updates to our site. If you understand search engine optimization (SEO) that would be a plus.
4. Community Design Program
Make calls or emails to city administrators and planners around Iowa to introduce our services to them. Contact volunteers to recruit for our design teams.
We have a small office, so most of your work could be done from home.

Description
The Iowa Architectural Foundation, founded in 1989, is the only charitable organization in Iowa promoting the awareness and appreciation of architecture and design to the quality of life in Iowa. The Foundation pursues its mission through youth and adult education programs, community design charrettes, architectural walking tours, and more. We believe through engaging communities and citizens with design, we can provoke positive change and inspiring futures for the built environment of our state. Through our outreach programs and youth and adult education, IAF inspires people to become thoughtful and engaged stewards of their communities and to work to improve the places where they live, learn, work, and play.
