Hospice Volunteers are very special and dedicated people. The most important part of being a volunteer is being a friend to your patients. We have a lot of patients who do not have family and need a special someone in their life who loves and cares about them. My Hospice Volunteers are wonderful in this capacity and treat their patients with love and kindness.

Volunteering requires a light application and interiew where we discuss what it's like to be a hospice volunteer and see if this is what you would like to do. Because volunteers are an important part of the medical team you are required to have a background check and drug screen before you can see patients. Once we have received these items back we will schedule a brief training. Then you are out seeing patients!
