Celebrate Arbor Day with us! Volunteer with Heartland Tree Alliance to plant street trees in the Old Hyde Park neighborhood, located in the midtown area of Kansas City, Missouri, near 38th Street and Main! BONUS: All volunteers for this workday have a chance to win a $5 Quik Trip gift card and a pair of passes to the Kansas City Zoo!
No prior tree planting experience is necessary. Tools and equipment will be provided. Min age: 14, with adult supervision.
All volunteers must register in advance by completing online registration. Click on registration button below for more details and to register. Immediately after registering, each individual will receive an auto-email confirmation with more details.

Bridging The Gap (BTG) educates citizens, businesses and governments about the impact their decisions have on our environment. We help them follow through with direct action to make our world, region and community green, healthy and sustainable.
BTG does this by working to create awareness of our environment and the need to make our communities sustainable at every level and in all life activities -- in homes, workplaces, schools and neighborhoods. In all of our work, we seek to create partnerships among governments, businesses, community leaders and individuals to improve our community by making it healthy and sustainable for our future.
