Outgoing personalities needed!
Visit patients on various units of the VA hospital on a regular basis.
Distribute donated items (when available) to patients and/or family members (e.g. blankets, comfort kits, hygiene products).
Work through the VAVS office to coordinate visits and distributions.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to VA rules.
Abide by and support the philosophy, policy, and guidelines of Soldiers Angels.
Participate in training or orientation as needed.
Keep careful records of hours volunteered and items distributed.
