Bringing the Arts to over 160,000 students every year!

Greetings Volunteers!

Volunteers will make phone calls or leave messages with parents of accepted SALA students every Tuesday and Thursday.

You will have a script, an FAQ sheet, and a staff member present to assist you at all times.

Volunteers will record their responses in an online database.

We would love for volunteers to sign up for a few weeks at a time!

Volunteers are encouraged to stay the entire time 4 - 7 PM.

We are looking for 4 dedicated volunteers that could donate their Thursday evenings for the month of March - June. We hope you are the volunteer for us!

Young Audiences of Maryland (YA) runs an amazing summer program called the Summer Arts and Learning Academy (SALA) in an effort to close the gap of summer learning loss through the arts. This program will operate out of eight Baltimore City Elementary and/ or Middle Schools each school serving 250 students grades K - 5.

Thank you so much,

Chaz Walters
