Afterschool Homework Help Volunteer Lead

Volunteers will lead groups of 3-6 in order to help students with their homework. You will be working with 3rd-5th Graders. After students have completed all of their homework, volunteers are in charge of leading their group in various activities such as drawing, coloring, painting, reading out loud, or whatever you as the lead volunteer decide to do. Volunteers will be required to arrive early in order to set up for the arrival of your group. Setting up may not be needed, but the 20 minutes will be designated in case you do. Supplies and materials such as paper, coloring pencils, crayons, and rulers can be provided upon request.

Requirements: There will be an orientation and background check for all volunteers.

When will I lead my group? Monday and Wednesday | Starts: April 17 th 2017 Ends: June 7 th 2017 |

Where will I be leading my groups: At the Thorman Library

Start time and End time for Volunteer Leads: 2:10-3:30

Start time and End time for Students: 2:30-3:30
