LiveOn NY is the voice for seniors and the aging services network when policy decisions are being made and coordinates and mobilizes action when those decisions impact older adults. We are seen as a primary resource for city and state government legislators and agencies to both provide input on policy and information regarding the older adult community.

We voice many of the issues that older New Yorkers face - everyday. Working both behinds the scenes and on the steps of City Hall to make sure that seniors are considered in policies and programs. We are proud to represent the voice of older New Yorkers.

We are in need of Office Aide volunteers to work with our Advocacy Campaign! Volunteers will work on the front lines, making Advocacy calls to various sites, Senior Centers, multi-service agencies, Adult Day programs etc. to mobilize seniors to take action. We are in a critical time and we need to ensure public funding is allocated to seniors and the sites that serve them. Our Advocacy calls are a vital point of action, and we NEED your help !

Availability: 4-8 hours per week, possiblity for more hours at the discretion of the supervisor
